Beer Valley Drifters step up for Heditude 2018
The Beer Valley Drifters will be playing Heditude 2018. The popular covers band have taken over the spot given up by Gorillah Radio (due to illness) and will be playing a 60-minute set on the Main Stage from 6:00 pm.
“Beer Valley Drifters will be playing mostly Americana/Country music by the likes of Neil Young, Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks, to name but a few. We aim to give a lively and entertaining show, with many well known, and some not so well known songs,” said lead guitarist Steve Horsnell.
Beer Valley Drifters is based in Bures, and comprises, Kate Buckle (sax, guitar, vocals), Steve Horsnell (lead guitar, vocals), Fred Goymour (bass, vocals), and Jon Perry (drums, vocals).
Following Heditude, Beer Valley Drifters will be supporting LaVendore Rogue at FerriersFest in Bures at the end of July, and then ‘drifting’ to a local studio to record their first EP.
Organising committee chairman, Aaron Stevens, said; “We are really pleased to be able to sign such an entertaining band at short notice. We’ve been very lucky they were able to fit us into their busy schedule.”
